Health is Precious- Protect It!

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a complimentary healthcare profession that has a holistic approach to the entire neuro-musculoskeletal system (includes both the spine, limbs, muscles and joints). Osteopathy follows the belief that every tissue is closely integrated with one another and therefore cannot be isolated in assessment, diagnosis or treatment. Osteopathy helps your body return to a state of balance through a variety of techniques including: manipulation, joint articulations, mobilisations, soft tissue techniques including neuromuscular techniques and muscle energy techniques and prescribed exercises. Each treatment plan is unique to you as a patient and your condition. The aim of each session is to relieve muscle tension, reduce inflammation, enhance blood and nerve supply, supporting the body’s own healing processes.

Her aim is to bring about positive change to support your body’s natural ability to heal itself quickly alongside home exercises.
